Our new space!

As we’ve mentioned before, we moved into a new space: 234 Main Street, Center Moriches!  To make it easier to find us, we had our windows painted by local artist Angie Nicholes (pictured). I think they came out so great!  

Just seeing them every day is a reminder of the helping things I love to do. I hope seeing them makes you happy, too, and reminds you that if I can do helping things, maybe you can, too! What a great and easy New Year’s resolution.  

For me, the first helping thing of the new year will be our Super Bowl Party Raffle, which raises money for the scholarships we give out at local high schools.  This year, for the first time in 10 years, we are changing it up a bit.

Our fundraiser will still be held at the Triangle Pub in Eastport. This year’s date will be Sunday, Jan. 25, from noon to 6 p.m. when we will draw the auction prizewinners and the party package winners.  

We will have a smaller Chinese auction, and be selling our Super Bowl raffle tickets. Instead of a TV/food package prize, we thought we’d try doing two each: $400 Best Buy gift card/food package prize. The winners can put it towards a TV size of their choice, or an iPad, laptop—whichever.  

As always, we will be out and about in the community selling our tickets and hope you will support HMUH scholarships for kids! We hope you all had wonderful holidays and wish you all the best for a happy and healthy new year!
